NAFRC Holds Special Juma’at Prayers in Honour of Retiring Participants of Course 01/2025

The Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC) on Friday held a Special Juma’at Prayer in honour of the participants of Course 01/2025 who have successfully concluded their six-month training programme at the Centre.
The prayer session, which took place at the NAFRC Mosque, was graced by top military personnel and staff of the Centre.
The Commandant, Air Vice Marshal Bashir Mamman, was ably represented by the Director of Finance, Brigadier General Inuwa.
In his address, Brig Gen Inuwa conveyed the Commandant’s message, expressing deep gratitude to Almighty Allah (SWT) for the grace bestowed on the servicemen and women who have completed their training and are transitioning into civilian life.
“We gather here today in a spirit of gratitude to Allah (SWT), and to honour the brave men and women who have dedicated their lives to the service of our nation. This special Juma’at prayer highlights the unity and resilience that are hallmarks of our Armed Forces, which is rooted in our shared beliefs,” he said.
The Commandant acknowledged the sacrifices and contributions of the retiring personnel, noting their steadfastness in duty and service to Nigeria. “To our retiring servicemen and women, today is a day of both reflection and celebration… Your unwavering commitment to duty, honor, and country, has been the cornerstone of our nation’s security and peace.”
He emphasised that their legacies are etched in the annals of Nigeria’s history, urging them to carry the values of service, loyalty, and sacrifice into the next phase of their lives. “Your experience and leadership are vital assets to our communities, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact you will undoubtfully make.”
Brig Gen Inuwa also appreciated the families of the retirees for their immense support, describing them as the silent strength behind the servicemen and women.
He further commended the Service Chiefs for their approval of the participants’ nominations to the training, and thanked the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, for his unwavering support to the Centre. The Commandant also acknowledged the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, for his continued leadership and commitment to national service.
“Thank you for your service, and may Allah (SWT) bless you and your families,” the Commandant concluded.
